Los Angeles aka the City of Angels… As in many places in California, the name is also in Spanish. If we imagine a city, Los Angeles is the city where you can witness the most beautiful sunsets! At least that’s what I’ve seen so far… Los Angeles and Its Beaches make your day stunning through the breathtaking sunsets, however you spend your day. Since formerly it belonged to Mexicans, you may still see many Mexicans living there…
The City With The Most Beautiful Sunsets: Los Angeles and Its Beaches
I went on a journey, in the end yoga teachers training course was waiting for me. I quitted my job, left home, packed my bag and came to California. I even didn’t know what to see in Los Angeles before coming. Cause I was so occupied with the things I had to finish and I was so excited about this journey… For the first time it wasn’t be a vacation. Since I would have enough time there, I didn’t make a bucket list. Luckily I had a friend who lives in this very expensive city and I escaped for paying accommodation. And the first thing he did after picking me up from the airport was bringing me together with the sands and the setting sun.
What to do in Los Angeles
Los Angeles was my first stop and you may not see a lot of tourist attractions because I came here to have a really enjoyable time. Without having a list of things to do, I was completely spontaneous about organizing my trip here. And after 9 days I can say, I’ve traveled enough 🙂 Los Angeles means chill to me. And when you reach there, if you are lucky to get away from the traffic, you will feel the vibe!
Los Angeles is known for its beaches; Santa Monica Beach, Venice Beach, Beach Del Ray, Malibu, Long Beach Beach… The list goes on and on. You can find them all the same, but at first glance, you can realize how touristic Santa Monica Pier is. Or how a hippie place Venice beach is, the calmness of Malibu, etc. etc. Well I spent most of my evenings at Venice Beach. I jumped on the bike my friend had set for me, and I ended up my day with or without any plan. Even if you don’t do so much, there is much that you can watch and chill. Street musicians, people doing crazy stuff at skate parks, dancing uncles on their roller skates, surfers in the ocean, runners, people working out on muscle beaches or doing acrobatics… Many things you can see. No matter what day or time. Because in Los Angeles no matter people say how hard they work, they have time for their hobbies.
The sunsets are so incredible besides these activities. You can just sit down and watch the beauty of the pinkness left behind by the rapidly setting sun and the silhouette of the palm trees behind it. Every day you’ll just be grateful even if only you’re doing this. Every day, every single day, I didn’t have a moment without saluting the sun and doing my yoga while I was watching this beauty.
Now it’s time to enjoy the beauty of the sunsets that I witnessed of.
